We are excited to announce that Drs. Sam Wang and Esra Sefik have been awarded a pilot grant from the New Jersey Alliance for Clinical and Translational Science (NJ ACTS) for their project, "A Testing Platform for Probing the Role of Dendritic Structural Plasticity in Neuropsychiatric Disorders." This study will develop an innovative in vivo rodent-based testing platform to examine dendritic structural plasticity as a substrate of functional change in mouse models of neuropsychiatric disorders, aiming to overcome the technical challenges of traditional methods.
